Re: bristle worm ID

That pic doesn't give us much to work with unfortunately. I have hair worms that show up on my glass. Does it look like this?

Re: bristle worm ID

I think if you'll look close you'll see a "reddish" tint to it also. I have tons of them in all of my tanks and they are just "bristle worms" and not the dreaded FIREworm.

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Re: bristle worm ID

It doesn't really look like a bristle to me.
More like a spaghetti worm.

Re: bristle worm ID

i think that is just some of the sand that got caught in the trap (that being a turkey juicer and sand color being dark blue)
