Is this a bristle worm ?

According to the ID section it may be " nereididae" which is quite possibly the same thing. Anyway I have a half dozen or so of them and they dont seem to bother anything. Just wondering if its a problem Thanks Peter

Yep .... a baby bristle worm. You wait until he's 10" long, then he'll look scary

They are excellent detrivores and not all species of bristle worms get 10" in length. I wouldn't panic just yet. JK

Now...

Because most warnings I've ever gotten were based on a prior event or experience, usually a painful one...

Who do you know that put a bristle worm in their mouth?

well i agree with a britle worm . is possible that come with some rock with the puchase of coral or other thing. you can put in your tank a large boxer shrimp ( coral banded shrimp ) . and a six line wrasse can control the larves of the initial britles worm stages
