What is that!?!?

So, I am staring at my tank last night and I see this cloud of "smoke" coming from a rock. I jump up to see where it came from and this little hole in the rock is just slowly leaking this "smoke" stuff. I have had this rock for about a year now and have never noticed this. What is it and what is causing it?

Sounds like you have a volcanic vent in your tank...
Most likely it's some kind of rock-living critter spawning... at least that's my educated guess.

I had the same thing in my tank, I think it was due to some sessile creature living in live rock spawning, like a snail or some such. Because my clownfish loved the smoke!!

My guess would be a tube worm of some sort that is spawning. Very common with LR.
