| Bryozoan | Any ideas (white string looking things) I have noticed about 10 of these things on some live rock I just added to the tank. It looks like a white string. It twitches in the water getting longer and shorter. Is it okay to leave in the tank or should I remove them with tweezers? Do they sting? (white stringy thing in the middle) ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Any ideas (white string looking things) Most likely either spaghetti worms or vermetid snails. Both put out a long stringy "sweeper."

| Somewhere Beyond The Sea | Re: Any ideas (white string looking things) I know the vermitids at times put out a webbing of sorts too, almost like there's a spider in your tank. Look for little stick like juts from your liverock. They don't seem to cause any harm, just can make the tank not look so pretty first thing in the AM after the lights come on with the "webs" ![]()
