Re: Alien in my tank?

Sorry, I can't see it.
Can you post a bigger pic to Photobucket and link to here?

Re: Alien in my tank?

A bigger pic would be a little more easier on my old eyes. It resembles some of the sponges found in my tank.

Re: Alien in my tank?

having a hard time getting it to accept small file size, keep getting "too large" anyway it is the roun grayish thing next to the coraline algae, has what appear to be veins in it?

Re: Alien in my tank?

If you have a graphics editor like paint shop pro, send gif files. They are far more efficient than jpg's. You can have a larger picture without overdoing the file size limits.

This file is 120K

Re: Alien in my tank?

Or if you have a program with a compress mode use that. It works great.
Another choice is to upload the photos to a photo hosting site (many use Photobucket but there are many out there). Then you can just paste the code into your thread and Walla it appears.
I do thik Scott has the correct answer.

Re: Alien in my tank?

Everytime I see the title of this thread I keep thinking it says:

"Allen in my tank?"

I keep thinking "Now why is BigAl in your tank?"

Re: Alien in my tank?

I wouldn't recommend gif's though, not for pics of your tank. They only support a few colors and they aren't meant for photos.

From Wiki:
The format uses a palette of up to 256 distinct colors from the 24-bit RGB color space. It also supports animations and allows a separate palette of 256 colors for each frame. The color limitation makes the GIF format unsuitable for reproducing color photographs and other images with continuous color, but it is well-suited for more simple images such as graphics or logos with solid areas of color.

Hey Ryan. I used autoCAD R14. I was getting some practice at 3D modeling. It was rendered as "photo real" which isn't really, but it still looks pretty good. A lot better to visualize it this way than a scrawl on paper.

Peace...
