| Scopas Tang | Need An ID, Please.... I was feeding tonight, and I noticed something squirming around just beneath my plate coral. So I lift up the coral thats on the sand bed, and I see something that I can only associate as a worm of some sort. Almost like a bloodworm that you would use for fishing except more translucent. Below is the only shot I could get before I lost it in the substrate.... ![]() I need to know not only what it is... But if its harmful in anyway. Thanks |

| Golden Moray | Re: Need An ID, Please.... Yeah, and be careful too.. they are like spitting cobras, and will spit venom into your eyes if given the chance... Just Kiddin! Weird story on a couple of them though.. I picked up an open brain in my tank a couple weeks ago and put my finger on a huge one (12" long). My finger looked like I touched a cactus, but I had no negative effects after removing the bristles. (used a dish scrubby) There must have been 1000 of the stickers in me! Anyhow, so three days ago, I was cleaning out my fuge, and happened to grab ahold of a tiny one.. No biggie.. I thought.. All day the next day, it itched, and I had a red puffed out spot where it got me. (on the side of my finger). The red puffed spot lasted until yesterday. It made my finger numb too!.. Must have been a different species or something. I have millions of them. Jason
