The #1 pic, and #3 pic are types of sponges from what I see, what are you referring to in the #2 pic? if its the red thing then, also, LOOKS like a sponge, i have tons of different colored/shaped/sized sponges growing on and under my LR structure. |

| Bryozoan | Re: What do you think? The 2nd picture I am talking about the red thing & the brown thing. I tried to take the tree looking thing in picture 1 of just becuase i really dont like the way it looks but it must be super glued on cause I could not get it to come off. |

| Over Achiever | Re: What do you think? By the look of this rock and the drabby organism found upon it, I'd guess that this rock is from the Gulf Of Mexico or the upper Caribbean somewhere. The first picture appears to be a species of Gorgonian, based on its spreading basal foot, that appears to be attached by its own means and not Super glue. The second picture shows various Atlantic Tube coral species. The third picture appears to be some sort of brain coral species. Why do you want to remove these hitch hikers? They are all good for your tank. They are harmless filter feeders that will help to keep your water clean. If you don't like their look, put something prettier in front of them. |

I just meant I could not get it off the rock that’s all The only one I wanted to take off was the 1st picture and I just don’t like the way it looks that’s all and where it sits in the tank it would be hard to put something in front of it. No biggie I can always just move the rock. Thanks |

| Neon dottyback | Re: What do you think? pic one... ive got something kinda like that in my tank... same texture and colors. mine are growing side ways and were visible when i first got my rock.. earlier it started growing some kind of plant and is builing up towards my light now. some kind of seaweed? SEAWEED |
