Snail ID

I need a quick ID on this one. I've got some new tank inhabitants on the way and I may need to snatch them out:

It's a little over an inch long, it has a "face" just like a turbo snail, I haven't seen any proboscis on it (like a whelk or conch). It is from the Florida Keys area. These guys were tiny for a long time, I really just noticed they were larger about a week ago. They are mostly on the bottom, but occasionally on the glass. I'll try to get a better shot from the front if I can...

Re: Snail ID

It looks very much like a cerith snail but I'm not at home with my reference books so it's an educated guess.

Re: Snail ID

Checked some pics on the net, looks like they are definitely ceriths. I think I ID'd these guys before, but they were tiny then and a lot darker. I can't believe how much they've grown!

Thanks Greg and Matt!
