First Corals-need ID help

I am attempting my first saltwater reef tank. 2 weeks ago I just purchased a zoanthid and blue mushroom. Since I am completely new to this, it will be a little while before I know if I have some good things on my corals or if I have some pests. Please help identifying a couple of things on my mushrooms. The first things are the several transparent tubular things on the rocks. The second thing is the bubble looking things that are also transparent except for the white outer lying areas right in the middle of the second picture. These bulbous things are also underneath the ridge of the rock in more of a linear shape about half an inch long with a width of about 3-5 bubbles. Sorry I couldn't be more descriptive. I am still learning.

Thanks

Re: First Corals-need ID help

Are you saying both things are flatworms? I haven't noticed them moving at all. So are they harmful and if so, how do you recommend I get rid of them? It would be a shame that the first livestock I put in my tank had some terrible pests.

Re: First Corals-need ID help

You might encounter the following 3 problems:
Zoanthids: white fungus and nudibranc
Mushrooms: flatworms

From your description, I do not believe you have nudibranc (at least not that you can see yet), or flatworms. You might have the fungus. Read the following 3 threads and know what you might have, how to treat it, and how to recognize it.
Mushroom flat worms: ShroomHlthFAQs
Zoanthid nudi: Beautiful, but Unwelcome; Aeolid Nudibranchs in the Reef Aquarium by Ronald L. Shimek, Ph.D. - Reefkeeping.com
Zoanthid fungus: Reef Central Online Community - White lesions / bumps on zoanthids. Discussion on treatment

All three websites are great for information helping understand our corals, fish, and tank care.
