Unknown Reef Hitchhiker!! Pls Identify! Reef Safe???!

Found this once "lil" guy on a live rock we purchased..

he has now doubled in size and we are now missing a few xenia we had in our tank..
wondering if maybe he isnt so safe??

Anyone know if hes "safe" Or what he is even.. Thanks!

It is a Pilumnus sp.(Hairy crab), she eats algae but also softies and xenias. I would catch it, then in the Sump with it.

Into the sump IMO. Generally speaking hairy crabs are not reef safe.

DING DONG the crab is dead....

had a gorilla, looked alot like that, I would have saved him but circumstances prevented me from getting him out alive....

That has got to be the hairiest crab I've ever seen! What would want to eat that?! I wouldn't even put that in the sump!!!!!
