| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: black growth id please, Hmm. I do have a basic microscope but would have no idea what I was looking at/for. I wonder if I can figure out a way to take a pic of what the microscope shows. Might be an interresting experiment for the weekend.

| Acropora | Re: black growth id please, I have been looking real close to see if there is any more in the tank. It grew very slowly untill I upgraded the lighting that's when it really took off! The other purple coraline got fried by the light. It's starting to come around now. I did look at it with a simple hand held microscope. It looked just like coraline & had the same texture. This is a small sized piece of Kaelini I had for years. Actually it looked attractive in a sinister way! LOL Thanks for the interest. |
