good crab YES, bad crab NO!

ok, enough group-x references...

at any rate, can anyone tell me what kinda crab this hitchhiker is and if he's a good thing or bad thing?

should i:
a) put him in my reef
b) feed him to my trigger
c) send him to the LFS

thanks!

Ummm, probably a bad crab by the looks of it ..... but I would go for option D and put him in the sump, he'll be happy and he'll keep it nice and clean for you. I have a crab, a mantis and a lobster all down there now

I had one of those in my 20g tore it apart trying to get it out. Killed almost all of snails before I got it out. I just tosed the little blood sucker in the trash.

heehee, thanks all! i had a feeling he wasn't a 'keeper' in the true sence of the word. i hope there are no more in there...

at any rate: this tank is starting new, but in the sump i was planning on putting some algae, dsb, LR, and peppermint shrimp. oh, and a sea urchin i came across too (same story, didn't know what to do w/ him). think the crab would be a bad mix w/ the peppermint shrimp?

i wanna hear what witt has to say now, lol!

Aaaahhh!!! It's a red-eyed crab from Heck. (Otherwise known as Eriphia Sebana).

They're horrible. Get it out of there and drop him in the sump.
