| Cabbage Leather | Re: id this shrimp Yeah, its a pistol / snapping shrimp. Should be fairly harmless exept to other pistol shrimps as they are territorial, even then, the biggest one will evict smaller ones out of tunnels which just forces the smaller ones to start a new home elsewhere. Being that there is nothing known (as far as I know) about the diet of sand sifting starfish, and they will most likely very slowly starve to death, I would expect to see a sand dollar having the same issues with trying to find enough to eat out of the sand. If you have a live sand bed, the last thing you want is a critter that sifts sand for its food anyways, which includes the gobys. Chuck
