Hitchkiker on pagoda coral

I noticed this last night on the underside of the cup of my pagoda coral. It looks like a small bivalve of some kind. What am I dealing with, will it harm my coral, and how do I get rid of it without damaging the pagoda? Thanks so much!

Re: Hitchkiker on pagoda coral

They are very common on live rock and coral purchased from the wild attached to rock.

Re: Hitchkiker on pagoda coral

thanks everyone! I guess I would be happier if that little thing wasn't on the underside of my coral, but as long as the pagoda stays healthy, I won't worry too much. :}
