looks like a serpent star to me ron but im no expert.im sure someone will id it though.how you been doin?

I agree with Wood. Looks like a serpant star but they're normally much darker (either black or dark green). never seen one that colour. Serpant stars are good scavengers and should not harm your reef

What you have there mebigloser (great name btw) is a Ophiothrix seunsonii. a resident of the Carribean and it's very rarely seen in the hobby. It's a suspension feeder and will capture tiny organic particles in the water.

good luck with it.

page 359 in Calfo and Fenner's Invert book if anyone has it.
