| Serpent Star | Ok, here are two photos of the hitcher. It is a light pink fleshy color. In the day it comes out and is bubble shaped with four 'prongs' sticking out the top. Each prong has little mini-tentacles coming off of it (about 5 or so). At night however, its sucks up and just looks like a little pink lump. It is very small, probably a little smaller than a 1/4 the size of a pencil eraser (can't think of an easier way to describe the size..LOL). I have one comment saying its a star polyp coral perhaps, and someone else thinks its bad and says remove it maybe. Any help would be appreciated. If needed I can try and get more photos, but so far here is what I have: ![]() ![]() Thanks for the help guys!! |

| Beautiful Katamari | Re: Pink wee 'lil hitcher.....???? I'm not sure what it is. Those polyps dont quite look like star polyps. Could be the start of some xenia? I definately would not get rid of it. I would just watch it develop and see what it becomes Isn't it amazing the amount of time we can spend watching our LR? And discover something new seemingly every day!
