And buy the way Chuck I have never said it but that is like one of the greatest HHID sites I have seen, use it all the time and post it.

| Excellent Guesser :D | Re: Hitch Hiker Snail Dent, before you torch the little guy, does it have the horn or antler or whatever they are called? It has the exact coloration as a conch I had. Is the flesh dark pink almost red?

| Over Achiever | Re: Hitch Hiker Snail I'm convinced now that this is a predatory snail. I saw it earlier today opening to opening with an Astrea snail. Now it has released it hold and the Astrea is laying there wounded and the shell is twitching. Here is a picture of it on the glass, you can see the wounded Astrea in the left, background. ![]() |
