Re: New Hitch hiker, what is it?

It does close up and retract back into the rock, slowly... not real fast.

Re: New Hitch hiker, what is it?

Sorry, commented on the photo page.
It looks exactly like the button polyps I have, mine just don't have the cool green mixed in. Mine are all redish brown. They like snacks ocassionally. Cheetos, squid whatever.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: New Hitch hiker, what is it?

Well, not sure what it is at this point, but it is isolated on a single rock so I'm going to watch it to see what it does, maybe let it get a little bigger for a better id.

Re: New Hitch hiker, what is it?

It is hard to say Dave but based on what you have said some type of anemone IMHO. I do not think it is a mojo. Need a better pic.

Re: New Hitch hiker, what is it?

Thanks Boomer, it's on a fairly good sized rock which I can move with a little work.
