ID please

Alright I have something else growing in my tank that I have no idea what it is. There are two patches on one rock, I know it's not cyanobacteria. I would appreciate any suggestions on what it could be.

Here is a slightly closer look at the bottom patch. Sorry I can't get any better of a shot with my camera unfortunately.

It's fairly slow growing as well.

Scrape it. I have some coralline that is that dark. Is it hard to scrape off like coralline?

If it is this...
http://www.globaldialog.com/~jrice/a.../lobophora.htm
Start removing at ASAP. I didn't and now it covers a quarter of my LR. It's the bane of my life right now.
This stuff grows just like coralline algae but is paper thin and can be pealed off with a little effort. It hasn't hurt any corals but it smothers the coralline and without light the coralline bleaches.
Hope it isn't this wafer crud I have

You may be right. Here is a link for Michelle to decide.
http://www.globaldialog.com/~jrice/a..._coralline.htm
It looks to me like wafer with some cyano on it. It seams to have a tan or brown base color.
Only she can confirm. If it is Peyssonnelia she will not be able to remove it from the rock.

Thanks for the links, I'm going to attempt to remove some tomorrow when I get home from work. My lights are off and I don't want to disturb the tank.

I'll keep you guys updated
