ID please - Page 2

Well I took the rock out of the tank tonight to test to see how easily it comes off the rock. I can tell you right now that is NOT coming off, even when scraped with a razor! It's on there good!

It's definately an encrusting coraline type algae, even the texture is the same as the other coraline beside it. So I guess this is the good stuff and I'm not going to worry about it anymore

I seem to have a few patches similar, been there form months, it seems difficult to remove but I think it was a little slimy? Was yours slimy?

It has a very smooth texture but I wouldn't call it slimey.
