| Fire Coral | starfish id.. bad or good? i saw this on the back of my tank on the overflow.. can anyone help identify it.. is it good or bad? ![]() i saw some blue ones about the same size about 6 mos back but i havent seen them since.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: starfish id.. bad or good? I think they are called astrea or astrena stars. They are harmless. I have a number of them in my seahorse tank and they heve never caused a problem.

| Fire Coral | Re: starfish id.. bad or good? when we had the other ones we left them in and had no problem.. but now we have more mushrooms and some zoos so we just wanted to make sure they wouldnt either infest the tank or mess with what we have.
