orange algae ID

I've been seeing some algae forming on a coupe of rocks lately..its actually pretty cool looking .
Bright orange with darker maroon(normal red algae color) outlining the actual plant very colorful ..i plan on keeping them ..

was just wondering if someone knew some info on them..thanks

Is it an algae or could it be some sort of sponge? It kinda reminds me of the lavender sponges I had growing in several places in my tank from the live rock...

Upgrade from 125 long to 210 on 1/7/07. 66 gallon sump/refugium.
10 hrs of light: 500 watt pc actinic 10 hrs
400 watt pc daylight 6 hrs
500 watt MH 4 hrs
180 lbs branch liverock. 100 lbs + assorted liverock. 3"+ DSB.

Fish - Foxface, Yellow Tang, Mimic Tang, 2 Tomato Clowns, pair True Percula Clowns (and their 6 inch pastel green carpet), Mandarin, Scooter Blenny, Bartlett's Anthias, Royal Gramma, Pseudochromis Splendens.

Blue/Gold Crocea Clam, Teardrop Squamosa Clam

Coral favorites include: 2 Acanastreas, Pink Cynaria, Green Cynaria, Birdsnest, Trumpets, Red and Pink and Green Goniporas (3), Frogspawn (peach favorite), Fox Coral, Diploastrea, Blasto, 3 Fungia (orange, purple, and green) and many others.

no , its def an algae i have a couple sponges in my tank

thats cool that it unique..i guess...maybe thats a bad thing..

IMO (which is not a very experienced one) i think it is some type of algae, but i would like to learn somemore about this beautiful organizim in my tank thanks everyone for the replies.

that looks similar but i dont think that is it....

one of my LFS sells that stuff in the first pic ive tried it but it doesnt like to grow in my tank..
the stuff i have has bright orange with red on the outskirts

Its the same thing that is growing in my tank. It started of orange/gold and has turned bright red. I have had to cut it every other week now.

My tank 11 months old what are these?

I would also like to know what it is. It looks great though whatever it is.
