Starfish ??

Found this little guy in my tank. Seems half of him is missing? Do these guys reproduce by dividing in half? Almost looks like 3 little buds on the other side? Thanks so much!

yeah but how do they reproduce? Do they split like some of my micro stars? Is this why half of the starfish is missing? Thanks!

I'm not sure why but every time I see them in my seahorse tank they are missing legs. Don't think I have ever seen a complete one yet.

Same here. I think they drop a leg and it becomes a new starfish

I believe they reproduce by spliting....i read that somewhere. I have themin my tank as well...nice lil cleaners

yep they reproduce by splitting, or dropping an arm off then both pieces grow to an adult then split again. thats why they seem to pop up over night in alot of tanks.
