| Pistol Shrimp | Critter ID I was watching my tank with the moon lights on, and I saw a bunch of these critters darting in and out of rock holes and in the hair algea. There were a bunch of them, different sizes, some appeared a little more opaque than this one, almost clear.

| Pistol Shrimp | Re: Critter ID You should have seen me trying to position that test tube, my camera and the magnifying glass I was shooting through, it was a circus. I was laughing at myself trying to get that picture. you can see how small that critter is, the other flecks in the tube are fine sand particles

| Reef Shark ![]() | Re: Critter ID ![]() That's a pic of a Gammarus sp. ampjipod. Very likely what your pic is of. Gotta say, while it's not real clear, the size of it is great. Tough sometimes to get things to photograph just right...(well, for everyone except Travis anyway)
