Crab ID

Since I've been on the hunt for Sally, any crabs that I see in my tank besides the Red legged are being banned to the Mantis tank or my Q tank. Here is one I caught tonight and when I put it in with the other crabs I caught, it immediatly attacked another crab.
I can't find it in my books. What is it?

Thanks everyone! Curt, that looks pretty close, but if in doubt, I take the butthead out! That is a nice left hook Craig, so he's in the Nano now for a future snack.

Looks like a 'Left-handed' hermit... usually sold as 'zebra hermits' or 'hawaiian hermits' at the LFS. They're called 'left-handed' hermits due to their oversize left claw. They're usually grayish-black with white stripes on their leg tips, or are a brownish-red color with the same stripes (I'm not sure if this defines their sex but I have both colors in my tank).
My left-handed hermits are also semi-aggressive (like you observed) but I found that it's mostly for show... the larger ones will hop on the smaller ones and rapidly tap their shells together... probably a show of dominance.
They're harmless for the most part though... I haven't found them going after anything in the tank but one another.

I don't think so It has the wrong color pattern, they are usually strippped and have blue

Left-Handed, yes, Zebra or Hawiian no. The one Curt posted is a Zebra

Try Florida/ Atlantic. "Orangeclaw Hemit", Calinus tibicen, Family Diogenidae.

Reasons;

1. Eyes black and eyestalks tipped with white.

2. Eye Stalks and antenea orange.

3. Tips of legs reddish, then a white band blended to orange and the rest reddish

4. Legs often covered with fine white spots

4. General color reddish to marron to reddish brown.
