Re: 210g reef in NJ

thanks for the compliments... I am trying hard, nothing comes easy in this hobby (Fulltime JOB!)

Here is a quick list of stuff in my tank:

8 - Mexican Turbo Snails
4 - Emerald Crabs
2 - Clean Shrimp
2 - Feather Dusters

Seabae anemone (which is growing so HUGE I don't know if he will fit)

Ocellaris Clown
Percula Clown
Yellow Tang
Firefish
Clown Fairy Wrasse
Blue Hippo Tang
Powder Blue Tang
Flame Angel
Naso Tang
Algae Blenny
Anthias (4)
Snowflake Eel
Flame Hawkfish
Coral Beauty

Ok I am done with my fish. Nothing else going in!!! I am more into coral but I needed some swimming action in there.

Corals :

Green Open Brain - Trachyphyllia
Starburst Polyps
Green Acropora
Colt Coral
Hammer Coral
Red Open Brain
Fuzzy Mushrooms
Green Button Polyps
Frog Spawn
2 pieces of Leather Coral
Doughnut Coral - Cynarina

Clams :

Crocea Clam (5")
Maxima Clam (3")
Squamosa Clam (7-8")

Always looking to fill up more coral...MAN this is expensive!

Re: 210g reef in NJ

Not sure if anyone wanted to know my equipment, but I am bored and had some time to write.

I have a 210g reef ready AGA tank
with AGA Modern stand and CUSTOM made Canopy

My lights are from hamilton - Three 400w MHs (14k) and Four 96w PC Actinics
My pump is a Reef Barracuda pushing a **** load of water from basement!
100g Rubbermaid Sump
ASM G4x Skimmer
2 - 400w Heaters
Pinpoint Temp probe
Pinpoint PH Probe
Pinpoint Calcium Probe (Junk waste of MONEY)

All my lighting and everything Electrical is controlled by X10 and my computer

I think thats it... plenty of flow that i don't need no ugly powerheads!

Re: 210g reef in NJ

Wow, that is a spectacular tank. How does the H. Tusk do in the reef? I want one badly. Hold on - I don't see the Tusk in your list of fish, that is one I see, right? Or is that the wrasse (left middle of most recent pic).

Gorgeous tank. What's the really red piece -- bottom left?

Re: 210g reef in NJ

I need to update my stock list
Yes that is a Tusk, and he does fine, eats my cleanup crew, but thats about it...
And the red piece is a chili coral.

Whoa, I told you I'd be gone for a while! Too funny. ;-)

I imagine it probably wouldn't do well with my cleaner shrimp, tho.
