the 70 frager

i am alomst done with my newest project!
i guess it should be called a 70 breeder but its got frags in it not fish
new acrylic 24x48x13 is perfect for 2 250w metal halides
i like the look of acrylic lets just hope i don't scratch it too much to soon
the lighting is fairly simple 2 icecaps w/ 2 250w 14k hamilton bulbs and 1 65w pc actinic
i am planning to stagger the metal halides on 2 cycles 1 in the am and the other in the pm
the stand is 47 inchs tall so everything will be easy to view while standing
and looking straight in as long as your not 6'2 or taller
the sump has an asm skimmer and a mag 5 return
the water flow in the tank is 2 seio 620's and i have 4 maxijets on a 4 way wave timer to give random currents
i will post pics later

Re: the 70 frager

Sounds nice Mattie! Are you planning on supplying the LFS with frags?

If you don't mind me asking, who made that tank, and how much?

Re: the 70 frager

glasscages.com it was 295 drilled o-box and shipped.
it is nicer than expected and built a little heavy duty.
next time i get one i will drill it my self and make my own o-box
i didn't like there's they only drill on the bottom which i don't like
