Deaster has struck.Woke up this to find that everything hjas diead in the tank, cuttles,starfish,cleaner shrimp,hermits,snails and all my coral sad.gif. We had a powercut last night and it must have blown the thermostat in the heater the tank temp this mormimg was nearly 40c (100f) sad.gif..this is the second deaster i have had this year so i am seouisely thinking of packing it in sad.gif.

Well guys aftetr a long few days decideding what to do..i have decided to carry on with the hobbie thanks to you guys here and a few from a UK reef forum Everyone has been so surportive ..its amazing how many people are willing to help in a situation like this
I'm going to have to let the tank recycle again after everything dieing but hope it doesnt take too long upto now water test are stable so fingers crossed i should be able to start restocking in a mounths time

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
