What a great bunch of members we have here! I am so proud to be a member of RS!
Love the full tank shot!

Wish I had something to frag for you but, everything we have is still on the small side.

Wish I had had a teacher like you....I might have liked going to school!

I'm sure you are already primed for this type of discussion in your classroom, but...just in case, I thought I'd mention it
Check out Cheeks recent post The Trade. It's bound to come up.

Weekly Update:

Tank is looking fantastic! Rolling along and I have been getting a lot of compliments but I have to give the credit to the GREAT people of RS!

4 pictures: left side, middle, right side and full tank shot. See how clean our live rock is? That was what it really looked like. I have put in a new bulb on the right so all lights match now. New MH's should be here tomorrow.

Criag's palyothoas are doing great. Fans are next along with some lighting changes! SOOO COOOL!
Cheers!

Wow what a magnificent project Rodger ! I can't believe I haven't kept up with this Thread

Keep a close eye on the temp when you add the Halides they'll probably lead to a considerable increase in the temperature. The back of the stand appears to be completely closed that could be one of the reasons for the high temp.

Looking at the aquascaping Rodger this is just my opinion but you could do a couple of Islands of Rock and leave some open spaces for your fish and it also allow better water circulation which is very important to keeping a reef healthy JMO.

Thanks Woody, Wiity, Craig!

Cheeks69: Glad you are adding input. Really appreciate it. I will put into place your aquascaping idea. Yes we are going to do something about the temp. One door (on left) is coming off for the MHs. We are going to build a canopy for them. We are also working on some fans for the top.

Thanks again!

Cheers!

Good job. I know that aquascaping took some hard work. I agree with cheeks a couple rock islands would make your fish happy and open up the flow.
Something I've heard stated here many times....do what works best for you

Your tank really does look great. Lots of hard work....Lots of satisfaction.

edit:You got in before me Roger!!! Shucks!
