| Acropora ![]() | Well I'll get to the pics in a sec, but first let me say we may have a hold up here, I had to call the shipping company and the distributor and the manufacturer. Two problems, I have 4 cracks in the stand, 1 is large, but all the cracks are in the bottom of the stand so not sure if that is going to be an issue. We filled the tank up last night just to test the stand and all seems to be fine. The other problem is they didn't send me the wet/dry filter.... got everything else fine but no wet/dry...... humm what to do now. Dave |

| Acropora ![]() | Thanks..... I really don't know what to do.... I could go to home depot, get a sheet of clear acrylic cut to the same size as the bottom of the stand... flip the stand over and glue it to the bottom... just thinking of options incase Tenecor says it will be ok.. but I have a feeling that they are going to be building a new one and shipping it to me... That will mean 4 more weeks..... Dave |

| Plate Coral | Yeah, but it might compromise the strength of the stand. I would personally wait the four weeks for a new stand, so that in years to come, the cracks don't grow and then getting a big problem to deal with. Ask the folks at Tenecor if they would send it Express, so that you could get it a lot faster. Then you could charge the cost of the Express shipping to the shipping company for their screw up on cracking the base (if it was them). Whatever you plan on doing, good luck with it! EDIT : Another thing you could do is go to an acrylic shop in your area, and get them to cut off that bottom sheet, and get them to put one on there, so that you don't have to do it all yourself. All in all, I would still go with getting Tenecor to do it again, because you shouldn't be paying for other peoples mistakes.

| Plate Coral | Yeah, I hate being patient too. lol But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Maybe you could pick up a few smaller tanks, and start cycling the rock in there, and then when you get your new stand, all you need to do is put all of the livestock and water (which is already been cycling for about 2 months) in the tank. Just a thought...
