Don't you hate that look on other people's faces when you're trying to decide yourself? I think they pay actors to stand around customers with that face on. Improves sales.

dude, dont tell inside secrets...i had those peeps in my store....if i made the sale,,,,they got a discount on the cheap azz stuff they wanted (that i overpriced to begin with)

Witfull, Have You changed your return lines? Are the outlets still down at or near the bottom of your tank? Did the extra pressure from the water depth have a major effect on the flow? Thanks,

i took the spraybars out long ago,,,they clogged and i added sand to the tank (carpet anemone)

on a side note,,,,had to buy Oceanic salt and a bag of epsom salt (i have baked A&H on hand)...all LFS were out of Sera and TM Pro....so i went with a high Ca. low Mag, low buffer salt.....know the weakness of a salt and you can adapt, overcome and conquer (happy BD Marine Corps,,,had to work it in someplace)

ok,,,now to why i came to make this thread even longer.

i know we all go to the same LFS over and over week in and week out. its what we have in our local area that limits us.

week after week,,,,there he is. a good fish. not expensive. but there he sits. you saw him when he came in. bright, vibrant, eyes sharp a fish that knows the sea. a week goes by, hes still cruising, feeling a bit caged in. another week,,,hes looking mad now, no rocks no prey to feast on. another week goes by, you notice the eyes fire fading. feeling like a prisoner. another week. hes just there, watching the dry land bi-peds walking by,,,,cursing. weeks turn into months. he lives, but what life? i see him say @$#&%$ as i stand there. he looks thin, colors faded, but i know the glory he could be.

i dip a netful of live brine and feed him. hes confused at first. what is this? prey? then the lifeflame sparks and he attacks with furvor. eating like a starved lion at the end of the dry season. fire in his eyes, and color radiating from his body.

then the hell begins again, a clear cage of torture dips in and entraps him, then tranparent walls entrap, the world shakes and bounces endlessly. a great wave surges him into a white world. a tortuous drip drip drip is all that is heard......

soon, soon, my friend you will be on a reef again
