Beautiful!! Does the clown ever go inside the anemone's mouth? Mine do occassionally!! Mine will push through the closed mouth, disappear for a few seconds and then come out....

It seems like it would be painful for the anemone but it does not react at all; stays fully inflated....

Tank looks great love especially the carpet although dangerous there's no denying the beauty. Do you have any clowns ? I don't remember if they were part of your fish list. How are the Triggers doing ? Any mating ritual going on yet ?

My Maroons, gold barred subspecies, are getting along famouslywith no anemone. The female, approximatel 3" is very dark as well, about to shades deeper than the male, approximately 1".

That is an excuisite looking fish, very different coloration from the usual Flamebacks. Are those juvenile or adult colors?

adult. hes about 2",,,they only get to 3". they are a pygmy angel.

Yes most pygmy angels are in the 3" - 5" range as adults, but what about the color? The common Flameback we see is red with barring in the side. this is very different and I assume will retain that coloration. The blue and yellow are the bomb.

your thinking of a flame angel from hawaii....these guys are atlantic. there are 2 species that are very similar in appearance. one from the brazilian coast the other from the african coast.

also Centropyge dont morph colors as the Pomacanthus genus does.
