Re: jhnrb 150 reef

Couple pics on the progress. air pump w/batt backup for both barrel oxygen replenishment and circulation 24/7, controller for heater in salt barrel, and outlet boxes with switches for the various pumps. not yet completed at the barrels. will clean up when all is in.

Booster pump for ro system will be here tomorrow.

Re: jhnrb 150 reef

Electrical work continues, lights purchased, filling sump system and testing for leaks. circulation tomorrow in the filter system, hang lights, complete one side of equipment shed. Booster pump is in and running. much better performance. at 60psi but will bump it to 65PSI, main system pump batt. back up in place. should run the dolphin amp master for apprx. 2 to 3 hours. long enough to get generator going.

Electrical rough-in, pulling wire, and electrical finishes look very professional! I can almost hear the water running from here! Awesome job as always!

O.K. when are the free tours of this facility? I'll have to make a special trip for the grand opening! John, I've started to turn gray since you started your thread. Hope I'm around to see the finished reef!

Re: jhnrb 150 reef

The system is full and running. not all equipment on yet. just enough ro water to fill tank and sump system. 5 barrels and just enough to keep sump from sucking air. so probably 7 barrels at 55 gal will be the total with refuge and skimmer, kalk reactor, calcium reactor etc.

tank is full of water, main pump is on and water is circulating.
Moon lights on only.

SORRY FOR THE POOR PIC ON THE MOON LIGHT. THE WHITE IS GLITTER LINES.
