60 Gallon Cube~

Yesterday I purchased a used 60 gallon cube tank made by Glass-cages. It measures 24x24x24, has a large overflow and a beautiful solid oak stand that was custom made by a very talented carpenter.

Once I figure out where in my house to place it, I will begin to assemble it.

That is nice! It must be the way the pic is taken but the tank looks tall

It is huge. LOL! The tank is 24x24x24 and the stand is 32" high.

I 'thought' it would go nicely in the corner of our bedroom but it is too large and looks awkward there....

LOL, I seen a 150 cube at the LFS the other day and about fell over. When I finally set up another large tank, its between that or a 180

Did you move?
I distinctly remember several conversations where there was only room for the one tank in your house. When did you move?

That is an awesome tank and stand.
Is it for more clowns or do you have another theme for this one?

Sorry but I have to go with the clown pair. My Sebae anemone would completely fill that cube. It's now 17" in diameter. I just got a new picture for you.

You can see the full grown Tomato clown if you look close. He's hiding just above the Frogspawn.

GET SEAHORSES! They have so much personality and the look on peoples faces is always fun when they hear you have seahorses. Plus you can raise them and after clowns, they will seem super easy! They will love the height! You can do more than two pairs too. I have two pairs in a 34 gallon and want to add more. My nitrates and phosphates are 0 thanks to the macro. I love my setup. It is super low maintenance. Some pics for inspiration:

Gosh Blake, your tank makes a strong case for seahorses. Looks great, I love the Macro algae combination. It adds a lot of color.
