180 Gallon Fix

So i have been here for a while and realized i have never made a chronicles of my own so here goes.
Tank Info
Asm G-3 Skimmer
Oddeysea Light 2 250 watts metal halide 4 65 compact florcents
2 Korella 4
2 Korella 3
1 Korella 1
1 Korella 2
2 Penguin power heads
4 Power sweeps
The sump is a 20 gallon sump with live rock and carbon pillow is the filtration.

Tank History
The tank has been setup up for 2 years and has every since been not taken very good care of because i didnt know what to do and did pretty much every begginer mistake you possibly could.
The stocking on the tank is:
Is one redsea sailfin tang
1 Blue Pacific tang
2 occaslirus clowns
1 royal gramma
2 Pajama cardinals

I am going to build a new sump for my 180 gallon the new sump will be a 40 gallon breeder tank that i got for free just sitting in my room, just a little clean up here is my design:

I don't see why not. Do you have any shadowing with only 2 halides?

a little i got that light because it lets me have soft corals, but i am going to upgrade on it.

you could just DIY another halide on it. Or buy a 24" odysea to match it.

i have been wondering what type of silcone do people use for thier aquariams i see the silcone in pet stores but it is very expensive.

alright just a little update i just finished cleaning the 40 gallon tank thats going to be my new sump.

Go to your local hardware store wheter it be Lowes, Home Depot or Ace. Look in the adhesive section.
