Kold Sterile Filter. Keeps essential elements. Filters last 50,000 gallons. 50 bucks to replace them. No wasted water. Great filtered water for the family.

Gen came over and installed some tops for the overflows. Hopefully, this will help w/the evaporation & noise.

Left side of hood. I have 28" from the ceiling to the top of the waterline. Bookcases will be on either side of the tank. It will leave me w/15 1/2" of viewing space from either side.

Right side of hood. I hope to install some type of adjustable rack for the reflectors....any suggestions ? I also will line the interior of the hood w/laminate for ease of cleaning.

Pic of 5" vent for the tank. I was thinking of using a panasonic 800 cfm whisper quite fan to vent the rear and adding 2 ice cap fans to vent the hood. Any thoughts ?

Re: Gimmito's 450 L-shaped display

I bought this truvu prop tank off a fellow reefer who just had no room for it. It's still in the original plastic and measures 4' x 2' x 12". I have a tunze 9075 laying around and I was thinking of hooking up (2) 6055 nano streams to it. I'm also thinking of a ati bubble master160 for the skimmer. Lighting is something I'm open to...maybe a sunlight dual 150 mh w/ dual 54 watt T5's ? I'm thinking of making a sump/fuge out of a 40 gal breeder or buying a one. I have a eheim 1260 laying around for the return.

Let me know what you guys think !

It's nice to see that the guys at ecotech marine are continually improving their products. The new wet seal looks solid and I can't wait to sync & upgrade the firmware on my other mp40.

Now if I can only find a deal on a 48" MH/T5 fixture.

Re: Gimmito's 450 L-shaped display

I had time this weekend to work on the frag tank stand w/ a buddy. It's made of 2x4's and 2x6's w/simpson hangers. I have a friend who's selling a used sunlight supply maristar 2x150 and 2x54 watt T5's. I can go w/12k reeflux bulbs, that way the corals will acclimate easier to the main tank (when that gets going !). I'm thinking of going w/ati blue plus bulbs for the T5's.
