| Fire Coral | Re: My 29 gallon tank. I finally caught a photo of the THING. I have no idea what it is but I finally caught it. Darned if I didn't loose sight of it after taking a few photos though. It caught my attention stretching about a thumbs (width not length) distance. ![]() It becomes hard to make out almost disappearing into the rock. ![]() The best photo I could get of it. It does seam to have little spines coming from it's back plate. I'm not sure if they are spines but I'm not going to touch them either. Large Photo ![]() I'm not sure what this is but it's been their for almost a month but was unable to get any photos good enough of it to show here. large photo of it. ![]() I'm going to see if anyone can figure it out from the reef hitchhiker section. | Fire Coral | Re: My 29 gallon tank. snail? slug? Any ideas? After asking what was that snail thing I found out that it was just a Stomatella. Yay for good things. Everything seams to be doing well still. The Anem is getting more and more color in it every day and the fish all seam to be just fine. The corals are growing and life seams good. I hope it stays this way. James |

| Fire Coral | Re: My 29 gallon tank. Their is only 1 pump hooked up to the HOB filter which also is the skimmer pump. I LOVE it. Saves energy and money. I love finding hitchhickers. That's why I've tried to take photos and show them off here. Thank God everything seams to be going reasonably OK. I have not lost any fish and the Anem is doing GREAT but two of the corals are not doing well at all and the sponge that was taking over the bottom of the LR is slowly going away. Everything is looking good other than that. I have had a few problems with algae on the pump but it pulls free easily. I removed the HOB pump hanging on the HOB skimmer/refugium and replaced it with an Eheim Aquaball to polish the water and love it. It is in the skimmer/refugium so it's out of sight. I should have done that a long time ago. James |
