Keeping my eye on you lol

Hey Will; great progress. I'm keeping tabs on ya, lol. I'm in Havre St-Pierre, thats up on the North Coast of Quebec, Canada. Fairly cool here, gets down to 30 at night. Lots of whales near the ship. Got a bad rap from home. My 67 gallons Ro water container overflowed; and flooded my condo and spilled into the condo under me . $ 7 000 damages. The insurrance is paying but the board of the coop is looking into forbitting aquariums in the building. need i say more. Anyway my insurance and my lawer are looking into it. take care and will keep dropping by.

Re: Willie's plywood adventure

thanks guys,
chops29,if I can, anybody can.....building the tank wasn't as bad a job as I thought it'd be.....plumbing is a nightmare,I'm still not satisfied with mine, but it is working,it's just a bit noisy right now,but I'll get all that figured out eventually

Re: Willie's plywood adventure

I have my chaeto tank running now,I also had the CPR HOB fuge so I put it on the chaeto fuge, figured I'd throw in some rubble for the pods in the CPR...it has a MJ 1200 for water flow,I also added a MJ 1200 to the chaeto,to keep it turning.....here's some pics of that too

Re: Willie's plywood adventure

Hey, Will, look great. Happy about your progresses and got some news of my own. About that flood and whats to become of my tanks. First i'm off the hook. Its not even my insurances who pays the bill, but the Coop insurances, and they can't sue cause the no subrogation clause prevent any sueing between co-owners, lol. As for keeping my tanks, they can't do anything about it lol. But for logistic purpouses, i'll keep only one from now on. The 65 g of course. It takes too much prep to set up my tanks when i go and my buddy just got kinda burn with that incident and even if he like to take care of them, i felt his , well distress over the incident, so now he'll have only one to look after. I'll sell the bio cube and my horses tank, bummer.

Ok continue your set up. bye for now.

glad to hear from you and that everything went well and you can keep your tank, your situation with work and keeping an aquarium is difficult,to say the least, but you've done a great job so far,it'd been a shame if you'd had to quit reefing.....bummer about the horses tho....I've thought about selling my seahorses and their tank and just have the reef tank, but the horses are just too cute

Re: Willie's plywood adventure

That did brighten it up a good bit. I think you found the right balance between light spread and intensity. Looks good.
