Let me explain, without God,none of the rest exist. Without a tank, whats the point of having a job?and without a job your not going to have a wife who will provided children, who in turn brings home pets you will have to pay and care for.

Re: Willie's plywood adventure

Wow this is just amazing... I am new to saltwater aquariums and seeing this just leaves me awestruck... I've had a 12g running for about a month now and every time I sit down and look at it I find something new. I cant imagine what a giant tank like that is going to be like.

Willie, this has to be the most incredible thing I have ever seen! I could not believe what I was reading when I first clicked on your journal! So I went back to the begining and read the WHOLE THING! I NEVER do that as I don't usually have the patience. But this I had to see! What a work of art and an outstanding job!!! BIG time kudos to you!

thank you,
I am very proud of my tank.....the whole system is still a long ways from complete, but the tank itself is done.....I want it to look built in,when its done.

I am trying to frame in a room just for the tank and filtration system.......I can install a big air conditioner to keep the temperature down, where I need it,to keep the tank at optimal temperature, without freezing my family to death

I now have my return pump external, and will be ousting the powerheads.......maybe my tank will run cooler now and I wont need a refrigerated room for it

Well, when you get the tank sanctuary (does that make it a "tankuary"?) I think I would make it my "hangin'-out-'n-chillin'" room if it was mine! I am soooo jealous!!! but my god man You have earned it!!!! I am only jealous because I can't hold a nail and hammer it in at the same time let alone do all of that! Yeah well I can make a mean pot of lasagna so there!
Anyway, keep us posted do I can live it vicariously!!!

"tankuary"that sounds about right

I have trouble with the nail and hammer myself,I keep hitting the wrong nail.....thats why I now use the cordless drill and screws

the front of the tank will be in the living room, the hanging out and chilling room.....everything else will be in a room behind the tank
