jiddy,The protein skimmer that I am presently running is a lifereef VS3-36 and I don't think it's big enough for my 210 but it did a great job on my 120. so I am going to be upgrading my protein skimmer in about a month or two to euro-reef CS12-2-RC or a CS12-3-RC.

Mark in your opinion do you think the ER's are that much better for the price over the ASM's?

Sure doesn't look DIY! Nice job on the doors. Also liked the way you boxed in the bottom of the tank. The adjacent surrounding trim was an excellent finishing touch.

Gina, not much new to report I still haven't gotten a new protein skimmer, I have been saving some money to get a new one and just got enough now to get the one I would like but it would be a special order. with some of personal crisis going on in my life I really don't wanna spend the money right now in fear of I may need to spend that money elsewhere.

the tank seems to be doing really well fish are healthy! the coralline algae that was growing on the bottom of my tank all seemed to die off,it all turned white and begin to peel off the cutting board but where it peeled off it is regrowing again. I'm not really sure what caused this the coralline algae on the rocks appeared to be ok and is growing well on the plastic overflows and plumbing as well.

I would really like to add a few more corals but in this area we no longer have any local fish stores except a petco so anything I would like to get I would have to mail order. when mail ordering I prefer to put in a large order to make it worthwhile with the shipping and handling so once again a plan on putting off for a little while, we will see what things look like this fall.
