for the two center front pipes I ran them under the braces to help cut down interference while working in the tank. I drilled some holes in the center braces and attached the 1 in. pipe under the brace and it's held in place with tie wraps

the two front outer pipes were a little more of a challenge but I was able to use a real small drill bit and make three small slots in the outer tank frame and I used tie wraps to hold the pipe to the outer edges.

on the back of the tank frame I ran a 1 in. pine board along the top and this is going to be used to hold the 4 -1 in. pipes in place. I held them down using 1-1/4 electrical conduit clamps.

as far as the pump and valve goes a had no choice but to put it in the cabinet there was no room behind the tank. I would like to have used a ball valve between the pump and valve but I didn't have the room in the cabinet so I used a union instead. I also used 1 inch unions on the 1 inch outlet on the ocean motion valve.

That's a great set up. You can definitely see where all 8 of the returns are in that pic. Should be a good amount of flow, it's a good thing that you have a lot of room in that stand.

installing the ocean motion system was a little bit more work than I thought the plan in my head didn't actually worked out and I had to change it lot of things throughout the job to make it work. to anyone thinking about installing one just make sure they're good at do-it-yourself, if you are plumbing challenged I wouldn't suggest this system.

on the pump I'm using the sequence Dart, the pump is unbelievably quiet it is actually quieter than my littlegiant pump. but if I had to do over again I would probably go with the barracuda sequence pump@4500 gph this system with 1 in. pipe would handle it with no problem especially with a 30 in. deep tank.

Wow! Impressive!! Does anything ever work out the way we have it figured in our heads? You always have to tweak this or that but, it all works out in the long run!
Good job on the installation!! We ever get the big tank, we'll probably go this route! It will be good to have your thread as a reference!
