How was your experieence with lifereef? What kind of customization did you do to your sump order? I'm thinking about using them for a new sump, and I'm interested in your comments.

my experience was a good one, I wouldn't hesitate to order it again Jeff the owner of the company spent plenty of time with me on the phone to find out what I wanted, what I needed. I got a standard lf-300 filter system and vs3-36 protein skimmer. the filter system come with everything you need to set it up, hose clamps, all of hoses, Pumps, Teflon tape. fittings and connectors. I did not need to take one trip to a hardware store.

here's an update on my tank I did my aquascaping and this is what I came up with. it consists of 330 lbs.Live rock, lighting system consists of 4 - 72"uri vho 2 super actinic, 1 -aquasun, 1 - actinic white, fired by 2 icecap 660 ballasts, 2- 4"icecap fans. for circulation I am presently running 6 maxi-jet 1200.

future plans consist of adding a better circulation system. I will be putting in a oceansmotions 8 way system,and more lighting 3x250w mh.with icecap ballasts. but this will have to wait until the the first of the year.
