i bought a toadstool leather today. i know my lights are good for it, but what about flow? im looking on retailers sites right now.

Moderate flow, nothing too intense, I have mine in enough flow that the tenticle things sway but not get pounded, about mid level in the tank under 260 watt pc lighting, they do the rest and grow pretty quickly.

i need some epoxy stuff for my tank so i can glue all my frags and get them off my sandbed. my sandbed is almost completely fill with zoa frags

all thats on my sandbed is a plate coral, and red slime algae lol. teh leather has extended some polyps already. do you feed it jeremy? i also have some epoxy. i just need more room on my rock (depth) for coral placement.

Keep in mind that you want to run carbon if you are keeping leathers. Their defense is chemical warfare so you need to have a way to remove the toxins.
I have a lot of different leathers and they are pretty tolerant of most any conditions.

I do run a small amount of carbon but I dont feed it, with growth like that I dont find it very necessary

I do feed the zoas phytoplankton thought and I am sure it gets some of that, and whatever else it catches when im feeding the fish. No direct feeding though
