Re: sambrinar's 75 gals office sanity

ok enough dancin...Regarding that flimsey basket that wont take the water flow, you might look into using a dishwasher basket (like we all have one laying aroung) but if you do.....it might work.

Re: sambrinar's 75 gals office sanity

I also suggest the ball valve like mentioned above. We installed on on our return pump, and it has done wonders! In the beginning I had it more restricted than I wanted, EASY to adjust, and now it's jusssst right

Re: sambrinar's 75 gals office sanity

OK my friends...

The sump was up and running beautifully, ball valve in place, thanks guys. But when I got back in the pump was sucking a tiny bit of air. Messing with the valve now. Kinda frustrating!!

I will just say the LR is in, the sand is in, as of last night when I left the office (at 9pm) the tank was still intact with sand storm in progress.... The storm remains, partial from me using a turkey baster to free the LR of sand, starting to settle down now.

As for drilling the LR,,, ummm we drilled, doweled and put together outside the tank... when we move it to the inside, yeah well I finally said forget it and we will epoxy it together later Shrimp is going in today to kick start this baby

Ohhhh Pix... yes Pix... You wait is over (sorry to leave you hanging, bad day at the office)... I will take picts before I leave here so you can see the tentitive scape. The sand is pretty fine, so it may take a while to settle

These are obviously from last night
