People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: sambrinar's 75 gals office sanity

you all know I love and trust you very much... BUT (there is always a but), we had to make some modifications to the legs of the light, I couldn't flip the legs to make it fit on the tank.. so you know how simple things go awry... WELL after having to buy a new dremel after MY dremel burnt up (thanks to the hubby), we got it done....

But... I was tired, didn't feel like reseting the timer to get picts for you all, but I have to go to the office tomorrow and I promise I will post them

For now.. here is the AQUA LED from Catalina Aquariums. that I am "beta testing" for them.

And have informed them of the design flaw in the feet, your welcome .. this fixture is awesome!! beautifly made, heavy though, has 2 panels of LED, moon lights through out the fixture, and 4 T5's... The moonlights are awesome and have a dimer!! I like the look of it on the tank, very nice looking.. you'll see that tomorrow

Here is a pict of it on the floor.. more picts tomorrow

Re: sambrinar's 75 gals office sanity

beta testing is a term used by companies about to release a new product. they send out "beta" units to trusted resources to either test out the unit to see if the "beta" unit needs any more upgrades or changes prior to launch. usually the units are commped or they are sold at a discount price to the tester. the tester usually reports back to the manufacture/designer any thing they feel may be an issue with the item.

in brenda's case the light is at the 95% point of being ready for release. She is being asked to report any concerns from the consumer end as for the design of the light and to report back her growth experience in her tank. The 6 month in house testing showed similar growth to what i experienced with the Aquarium LED light but as we all know. real world trials by real reefers is what matters the most.

oh, well if you have to pay for it then its not nearly as cool as I thought it was, it was my understanding, this coming from the computer software world, that beta testing means free trial to figure out where the makers screwed up
