Re: sambrinar's 75 gals office sanity

who gave you the suggestion of the saddleback?? i would redirect those koralia powerheads and take those little end caps off them. that just directs the flow into a straightish line instead of letting it spread out. i would have one stiring up the surface. i don't see why you cant add everything from your 12.5g now

How in the sam Helk did you ever move that monster full of water? OMG
glad you got to still use the skimmer under the tank in the stand!! and use it as a HOB under the tank in the sump.

Im watching carefully here as my 150 may be on the rise! Your already giving me ideas

Oh IDK who suggested it, beautiful fish... gonna be too big IMO, so he is out. I will remove the caps, thanks. I had them pointed like that to stir the salt in the bottom of the tank, they are repositioned now and they will be repositioned when I get the LR.

I am sure I will have a huge cycle when I add the 67 lbs of LR and and 100 lbs of sand... that will kill all the coral that is in the 12 gal. I will just wait. but thanks

Kim we move the tank and stand VEEERRRYYY carefully still intact

Of coarse!!

I was thinking about dropping the 2 fish in there while I wait for the rock, just so I can see something swimming around. My desk faces the tank. Kinda depressing looking at that big bowl of just water swirling around

Just joking guys!!

This was good info for me as I just installed a Koralia a day or so ago and had the cap on. explains alot for me as well. thanks....

Which model did you use in there Brenda. I just got the model 3 and am hoping its not gonna be to much in my 55. but silly me assumed the "cap" was supposed to be on and now have canals through the sand. LOL Live and learn!! hehehe. so im gonna remove the cap and see what happens with the flow now.
Glad im following along here. thanks for letting us tag

ohhh did it come with an instruction booklet? huh! who would have thunk? I thought it was plug and play

I did however study the instructions for that stoopid skimmer. fricken thing, geesh, rocket scientist project LOL

Yes I have lots to frag Kim. I am sending 2 frags to a fellow reefer shortly, when he is ready, and I would be happy to send you some as well. I will let you know when I frag it again.

600+ pounds is a lot of weight! Nice job on the shifting with no water on the floor. Still waiting for pics... even if there is nothing to see.
