How long have you had the Elegence? I honestly thought it was a sebae...now I'm REALLY jealous! Where did you get it? How many have you seen like it available and healthy? Basically could you tell me everything about this critter, cause I really want one but the ones I've seen here in St Louis are in generally poor condition and I don't wanna risk 'em. I've also heard that generally they like less light than many tanks have, have you noticed this?
Thanks Luis,
Nick

Thanx Sharks, Tdevil, Curt, cheeks, Rogue, jacket:-)

Jackets I will do that soon:-)

Nick I just got the Elegance the day before yesterday, I was lucky to be the first one at the LFS in Boca as they started opening boxes from a Shipment from the Solomon Islands. I have never seen one like this one in person Nick. I have seen one in a book that is just like it(I will find out the name of the book for ya). Elegances are considered hardy and easy to keep and I am not sure why. I have had 3 in the past and they never lasted very long. I bought this one cause is so rare to see one of this kind and because the water that it came in was crystal clear, so it looks like it shipped very well.
Elegance corals are supposed to like from low to relatively high light, I have found out that they do better in lower light and with a gentle stream. I moved it 3 times already and this one also seems to prefer low light.

Nick from what I have heard from friends that had owned one or more and from my own experience, it is far from being a hardy coral as it is advertised in most books.(Goes to show ya)

We will see how long this one will last:-)

Hi Luis, I'd love to know the settings you used, but I meant placement in the tank (on the Turbelles)?
Can't get over how beautiful your tank is. You've got a great eye, should have been a painter!

Luis,
thanks for the info. I hope it does well also, its beautiful. On the rare chance that it decides to reproduce by budding, ( a guy on RC has one that is...to bad he's in Mediterranean Europe....) I wanna claim dibs on one of the first couples of offspring!

TG the Turbelles are hanging from the overflow made of black acrylic which helps disguising them( a little only:-). One is facing towards the middle of the tank and the other more towards the front. They are very versatile in movement. Eric and Joe figured out all the settings while I was away from home. Sheri they are a must have for anyone that can afford them(or even if you cant like myself:-).JMHO

Luis

PS I will post more pictures later this evening. The battery is charging:-)

Curt and I saw a tank w/ one Turbelle in it hidden in the camouflaging rocks that is made for it. I was very impressed w/ the flow produced by it. Definately on the list of things I gotta have.....

Just another view. I just adjusted the camera a little bit. I hope the next batch will be a little better.
