Thanx u all.

I will just keep shooting away. Tell me when to stop.

This picture captures the right side(a little portion is missing)and a part of the center portion of the reef. The Seriotopora is the newest colony on this side.

The Large Acropora on the top left just above the Seriatopora has been coloring dramatically(got to love them radiums), seems to be going blue. If that whole thing goes blue, ay ay ay chico!

And one more tonight. Wont bugg ya no more this evening.

It is to bad that the stag to the right of the Blue Millipora does not reflect the true blue color.

This week I have a rare Yellow encrusting Montipora(looks almost like a porites) and another type of monti as well, coming from Dr. Mac. I hope the Radiums will retain that yellow. I have a small acropora colony from Bali that has been there for a week and holding up the yellow so far.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Here is the link to thread where the guy w/ the 2 flames that are not a mated pair are in his reef. He's a dutch reefer and goes by the online name of Tanu. The tank is a 160 gallon, and the pics of it are about 1/3 of the way down.
Luis,
Things are looking great man!!

Luis, I love those dark, dark green acros. Like the one on the right side of your seriatopora. What do those look like under actinics? Does the color fluoresce?

HI Sheri.

That one is one of the acros that I had under the 250 MH. Originally was a beautiful light pink when I bought it. I am hoping the color will come back with the Radiums.

As far as with the VHO's only this coral gives a crazzy deep fluorecent beautiful green, similar to the one found in DWC.

Luis, maybe the pink color was unhappy/expelling zoox? I've heard of a number of pale pink acros that were that color because they weren't happy. Anyway, I think the deep green is gorgeous. I keep trying to find one for my tank, got an A. verweyii that I thought was gonna be that color, but it's not. (darn it).

Man it must be incredible to see that tank everyday. I think you might get a visitor when I head south one of these days I didn't think you would be able to outdo your old tank Playa but you proved me wrong and then some congrats. . Thanx for the link Nick IMHO even if you add the Flames at different times and they're the same size I don't see a problem in a tank that large. If you look at that pic in the link you gave you can see the space between them and all the potential hiding spots to buffer any aggression between them. That Regal is incredible also

Tg this was a wild colony that I bought a couple of years ago. It was not really a light pink. The coral was very healthy and still is. So I am not sure it was the case with this one, but I know what you mean:-)

Cheeks anytime!
I really enjoy looking at my reef while the VHO lights are on or after all the lights are out and the moon lights remain on.

Tg how is this for a dark acro? This is a different one from the other green acropora. This one has a teal body and has dark purple pollyps(long enough to cover the teal and make it look black) You can see the contrast with the live rock.
