Playa,
We have a flame angel and even though they say it's hit or miss with these guys the one we got is wonderful. He likes to swim in and out of the rocks alot. Just curious, how big is your tank or do you have several? I know I could go look but, thats the lazy me!! We hope to have a 180 or even bigger when we move into a house. Right now we have a 46g in a trailor. I wouldn't go much larger than that too scared we'd end up with a hole in the floor. I love your tank! And fish!! Glad to see also that your doing well!!!
What a scare that must have been!

Love the new fish additions!!! I would really like to have Sohal in a tank...but I'm gonna need a house big enough to house a tank big enough to hold the fish.....sigh...all these little real world problems keep getting in the way of my dream tank....
I just saw a thread on RC where a guy placed two flame angels in his tank( not a 6 bazillion gallon tank either..a 120 I think) and they werent a mated pair. If I recall correctly he put the second one in 2-3 years after the first and made sure to get a small one.

Thanx Sharks, Kevin, Gina, Sheri, Craig(The best ambassador to the hobby).

Nick I think Carlos, a guy in South Florida ha a mated pair of Flame Angels. That would be just awesome.

I have some new corals in the reef that I have not been able to capture good pictures of. So I will keep trying and I will post the pictures. I need to somehow put a camera in my budget.

Mine really stinks since it does not have white balance, so it is pretty hard to take crisp pictures, more so when you are just a helpless photographer like myself.

You are too kind Luis and I'd like to be half as bad a photographer as you!

Just awesome fish How did you get the swallowtail to start eating ?? I've read that adults can be very difficult to adjust to prepared foods. Also just to reiterate what nick said if you want to keep dwarfs together Dwarf Angels usually do not mix well together in the average home aquarium unless the tank is larger than 70 gallons. If Dwarf Angels are going to be maintained together, try to vary the sizes of the fish, and add the Dwarf Angelfish to the aquarium simultaneously. This will help prevent one specimen from developing too large a territory and becoming overly aggressive. Also alot of hiding places is a must especially if your tank is in the 70-90 range JMHO. That Sohal tang is gorgeous

Playa .... I think you'll be ok with the flame. I have a bi-colour and a Juv emp and have never had a day's problem since they were introduced .... with that ocean around them I'm sure he can find other things more interesting than your coral. Just keep coming back for the updates. You the don

Cheaks .... time will tell. He was a real baby when I got him (Smaller than an inch ..... so I'm hoping he's never seen / learnt / thought of coral nipping. I've heard horror stories and love stories of them in reef's so I'll have to wait and see. When I was (still am) keeping freshwater I used to dream of having an emperor and I just HAD to get one ..... so fingers crossed mate
