i'm going to try to get the smallest regal i can find so i can watch him grow. of course he will be qt for a month or a month and a half. hopefully in the 2.5 to 3.5 in range

you can get those REALLY REALLY small. Check out Al's thread, he has one that is like the size of his thumb nail or something insane like that. I got interested in the sizes of these little guys after i saw these pics of a SIX gallon tank!

the lights are illegal in the us because of some patent thing is what the article said, but they do look sweet, i wish they were available in the states.

ok i am going to pick up some more wood hopefully this weekend to maybe finish the stand. then i'll start on plumbing step one. find a local plumbing store to buy some bulkheads
